Vision
At the top of this page, and indeed on most of our material, you will notice our "building-block" icon. We use this symbol to illustrate our belief that the primary issue of concern in most companies has little to do with a lack of skills, and even less to do with a lack of activity, but rather how these skills and activities are coordinated with one another and how they are aligned to the overall purpose of the business: to create and keep a customer.
Through our research and observations we see that the vast majority of individuals in today’s companies are certainly not lacking in the amount of activity that they undertake. Working long hours, and often with a great deal of passion for their work, they dedicate significant time and energy to their activities. Neither do most organizations lack skills that they could easily acquire. Most organizations are actually rich with the skills that they could access. So why, when many organizations are diligently working away, are they falling short of expectations?
Our belief is that the missing ingredients are the coordination and alignment of all energy and activity to the corporate strategy, allowing them to be fully focused on the overall mission of the company. We see organizations that suffer from a compounding negative effect where many individuals, although working with effort, are cancelling out the work of each other. The markets, and customers within the market, receive conflicting messages and perceptions of the organization. There could well be a duplication of effort as individuals within the company strive to solve the same problem. We would propose that there is a significant need for many organizations to align and coordinate the resources, energies, and all activities that are crucial to sustainable revenue generation.
Our “building block” icon represents the simple fact that most organizations already possess most of what they need. The puzzle they are faced with is aligning and coordinating these blocks to form a complete picture. In order to bring this puzzle to its logical resolution with each of the facets correctly aligned and coordinated, the underlying sub-cubes must also be correctly aligned and coordinated. If “solving the puzzle” is how organizations need to survive and prosper in today’s market, a systematic and therefore sustainable and repeatable process is required. While some companies may solve the puzzle once or twice through luck or time-consuming persistence, the inherent velocity of today’s business environment will not consistently reward these methodologies. The only viable solution is the utilization of a proven process.
With such processes in place, individuals working in the organization would be free to direct their energies to the work at hand, rather than worrying about how to do the work. These processes would bring a new level of clarity to the organization and should also reduce the “politics” and frustrations found in many companies today.
We have become recognized as leaders in our ability to apply our research and methods to successfully transforming sales organizations.
Our vision is to become the company that enables your own puzzle to be swiftly and simply solved.
