Jim
Dickie is the Managing Partner for Insight Technology Group, a research firm
that specializes in analyzing how companies are reinventing the way they market,
sell to, and service customers. He has over 24 years of sales and marketing
management experience. After starting his career with IBM and Sterling Software,
Jim went on to co-found two successful software companies.
Jim is a contributing editor for
CRM magazine;
and the author of CRM2000, Insights into
High Tech Sales and Marketing, and the co-author of
The Information Technology Challenge. In addition, he is a frequent
guest host on PBS’s World Business Review with Caspar Weinberger and an
often-requested keynote speaker.
Hugh H. Turnbull joined the predecessor
company of Pitfield Mackay Ross Limited in November 1959. Mr. Turnbull was elected a director of the firm
in 1970 and appointed one of the four vice presidents in 1972. He became Head of
the Investment Banking Division and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee
in September 1982. Upon the merger of Pitfield Mackay Ross Limited with Dominion
Securities Limited, he joined Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. as Senior Vice President
and Director of the Corporate Finance Department until he formed The Hathaway
Corporation in June of 1989.
Mr.
Turnbull was Chairman of the Members Organization Committee of the Toronto Stock
Exchange from 1974 to 1979 and was a member for over 10 years of the National
Corporate Finance Committee of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada.
Mr.
Turnbull has extensive experience in all areas of Corporate Finance and
underwriting and has performed numerous valuation and fairness opinion
assignments for a wide range of Canadian corporations.
Paul
Kellenberger is Chief Executive Officer, Chancery Student Management
Solutions. Mr. Kellenberger joined Chancery in 2002 as Chief Operating
Officer. From 1983 to 1995, Paul held senior positions in general
management, sales, marketing, and corporate development at Motorola
Inc., Digital Equipment Corporation, and Inacom Corporation. More
recently, Paul was Chief Executive Officer of Promeo Technologies, a
leading software provider focused on the wireless market, as well as
Chief Operating Officer at zUniversity, a direct marketing company. Paul
also serves on the Board of Directors of Ascolta Corporation, a leading
technology training company headquartered in Irvine, CA.
Paul holds a
Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Western Ontario,
and a Masters in Business Administration from McMaster University in
Hamilton, Ontario.
Paul Smith is the founder and principal
of Strategic Edge, a consulting firm specializing in helping global software
firms develop unique and compelling sales, marketing and alliances strategies. Prior to founding Strategic Edge, he held
executive level positions at Digital Equipment and PeopleSoft. As VP Sales, Mr. Smith was instrumental in working in
partnership with the leading service firms to win many of the largest and
highest profile ERP projects, which helped to catapult PeopleSoft’s growth,
and to be recognized as the fastest growing software firm in America for three
years in a row.
